ALBERT EINSTEIN,THE MOST SURVEILLED MAN IN AMERICA
( in development )
THE GREAT DUELS OF HISTORY
( in development )
But who is Albert Einstein? An eccentric genius or a dangerous communist spy? If the inventor of the famous formula E=MC2 is recognized as a genius scientist, we know nothing about his struggles and the persecutions he suffered. In 1933, when a price was placed on his head by Nazi Germany, he went into exile in the United States.
Very quickly, he put his notoriety at the service of major causes that will lastingly change society. A militant pacifist, humanist committed to the fight against homophobia, racism and anti-Semitism, he will quickly be identified as a subversive spirit who threatens the security of the United States. Monitored night and day, wiretapped, private life scrutinized, the State Department suspects him of being a dangerous Soviet spy. He will be hunted until his death by J. Edgard Hoover, the all-powerful boss of the FBI.
Between documentary and animated fiction, this series reveals a little-known facet of the life of Albert Einstein.
Both fun and educational, these episodes, in a 26-minute format, will therefore allow us to open a window on past societies, highlighting through the theme of "Great Duels of History", their concerns (periods of transition or trouble), their commitments, the progress of their civilization (great innovations and commercial and cultural exchanges) and this always in a spirit of transmission of knowledge which has been perpetuated for centuries.
